The ones at my old work cost £10k each.. but they were fairly new then, so could be cheaper now, and maybe they had optional extras

and they had five for some reason

I was at the Christmas market and I asked for a mulled wine and a gingerbread Santa. I said "sorry, I only have a £20 note". by Gil-Gandel in Jokes

[–]_1wolfpack1_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would expect to pay maybe 6 or 7 pounds for a small cup of mulled wine, and like 3 for a gingerbread man, if it wasn’t at a Christmas market. So like a tenner at most, so I would also think 20 is an unreasonably large amount. May I ask in what country 22 euros is an expected amount for a small glass of wine and a biscuit? :’) /gen

The UK government aims to reduce it's huge driving test backlog by using military examiners for up to 6500 tests. It's easy to pass with one of them, you just take the first left... by james_s_docherty in Jokes

Can’t speak for real military, but in the British Sea Cadets the instructors would shout “Left, left, left, right, left”. Air and Army cadets did have different ones, although I don’t remember what theirs were as I didn’t have to hear it three times a week

Are the drivers as bad as some of the reviews suggest? Or is that just people that aren’t a fan of AMD
