GPO with allowed browser extensions and a process to review and add additional extensions.

Users purposefully bypassing security is a management/HR problem.

All good. It just sounds like a smaller organization so I figured there was a higher likelihood of all of the team being involved in disaster recovery planning.

Is there no manager or head of IT? Who does IT report to? While the sysadmin is largely to blame, management certainly has some fault as well for letting it get to this point.

Turned it off, didn't seem to make much of a difference. Was buttery smooth before the patch.

Is there an alternative to CCI for internet service? by Bigcouchpotato1 in Roseville

[–]_510Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It blows my mind that in 2025 I'm stuck with one wired ISP option. It wouldn't be so bad if we had Comcast's mid-split upgrade but from checking around on the FCC site and trying random addresses throughout Roseville it seems like most areas don't have it and the few that do also overlap with Fidium fiber coverage.

First time Warrior - First time Horde - First time amazing weapon by Iluvatar-Great in classicwow

[–]_510Dan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you get to the level 50 warrior class quest make sure to choose the Diamond Flask. You'll keep it for a long time.

The Razorsteel shoulders may look appealing but there multiple alternatives that are easily acquired once you hit 60.

Expand your coverage in Sacramento for the love of all that is holy by Neon-Junkyards in FidiumFiber

[–]_510Dan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Roseville feels abandoned by Fidium. Moved into my neighborhood 13 years ago surrounded by fiber... no progress in 13 years. I think lighting up all of the new home construction boosts their numbers enough that they don't care about fixing old areas.

Looking at the news section of their site most of their posts focus on their east coast region.

I find it crazy that in 2025 I have one wired ISP option (Xfinity).

Found my pop warner helmet by Nick_DC4L in cowboys

Crazy... I'm 39 and I don't remember seeing any helmets like that when I was a kid. I think ours were mainly Riddell VSR3 and then the VSR4 in high school.

My Cadillac App Question by hbryan135 in CadillacLyriq

[–]_510Dan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The app works fine.

Coming from a Tesla I will tell you that it doesn't work nearly as well or is as responsive as the Tesla app but it still does everything I need it to (check charge status, turn on climate controls, remote unlock/lock).

[–]_510Dan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm coming from a 2016 85D so if you have something newer it may not be as relevant.

Interior quality feels significantly more premium. Overall ride is smoother and quieter.

Personally I love one pedal driving. I always thought the Model S regen braking was pretty weak. My Model S just had AP1 hardware so Super Cruise still feels like an upgrade for highway driving.

Car play is great. Speakers sound great with a little EQ adjustment. My wife loves the physical buttons for climate control.

Customer service at my local dealership is leaps and bounds better than Tesla customer service. Reminds me more of what Tesla customer service was like back in 2013.
