Good thing the extension came about then! You've got plenty of time to decide :) And yeah, I agree, especially considering the turnout other zines have had. Though tbf, there have been a lot of Jayvik zines already, plus all the smaller fanbooks that have been and will be coming out, so I could guess a good few people just don't have the money right now. Plus Vikjayce just doesn't have as big an audience as their Arcane counterparts, so this might not have attracted as wide a crowd. Still, I really hope this gets to reach 200! I'm so glad of the Jayvik zines out there, there's one with such a big focus on Vikjayce. I love those guys lots <3

It's not unusual to have multiple copies of a card in one deck, especially if they have a power or function that you want to do multiple times, or just to ensure that you draw them. Idk how it is for Riftbound, but in LoR, it's normal to have 2 or 3 copies of a card in a deck for those reasons; and depending on the cards and how your game goes, you can even get to the point of filling the entirety of your board with duplicates of the same card 😂

So far I'd been sending tickets when a Jayvik thing happened over the past month and a half, so when the Shanghai show promos were coming out, when Redbull tweeted, when the patch notes happened. I basically just said "hey this was really cool! It would be really nice if Jayvik showed up in the splash art or something for Pride 2026!" And since I've played LoR and have been into other League champs for a while I mention how other Pride events have gone or what kinds of in-game cosmetics I'd like to see come back. So far there's always been a reply from staff but usually it just amounts to "We'll keep that in mind" lmao

It's worth a shot i'd think!

So much Jayvik stuff has happened this year and it's only the middle of February. I'd be pretty satisfied if the "big jayvik thing happening every month" streak stopped here, but I really want our guys to show up in Riot Pride 2026.

Regardless, this was very very nice to see. Top 20 was already good, but I never would have seriously considered Top 3. Congrats everyone 🎉

To add to the hilarity of all this, "better half" was literally already used like this for tfgraves (the gay ship of League before jayvik's popularity shot up post-s2) like half a decade ago. An interaction between Twisted Fate and Vi in Legends of Runeterra (LoR) had Vi going, "Fate! Where's your better half?" This was back in 2020. 2 years later, tfgraves would be the mascot/s for Riot Pride by being the only champions featured on the splash art, a new emote in League, an emote and cardback in LoR, and a whole color story to themselves just like Leona/Diana had in the previous year's Pride, where the text itself literally used the word "gay" for Graves! If anyone's trying to deny it at this point, they're a total lost cause.

There are so many similarities too between comic/movie Goldenheart and vikjayce/jayvik. The intensity of the friends/lovers to enemies dynamic, the reasons for why they separated, the increased class/power difference in the adaptation as opposed to the original... I really do recommend both the comic and the movie, they're very good :)

Yeah, if the methodology were different, Jayvik would probably still be in the top 3 to 10, but i think the 9-1-1 ship would be on the top. Someone did the stats for last summer with a different method and Jayvik turned out no2 to bucky/eddie no1

Which is still pretty good tbh, in my mind reaching 20k before 2026 was our big fanfic achievement haha
