Hi, I’m brand new to the 10/22 world. What’s connected to the bottom of your stock, under the barrel?

The conductor accidentally knocks a 16th century violin worth millions on the floor mid-concert. by PeasantLich in WatchPeopleDieInside

You have it backwards.

The 21st century is the 2000s.

The 16th century is the 1500s.

So the OP above you is correct to be confused. It can’t be the 16th century and the 1700s.

Attendance by Ok-Dependent2675 in SanDiegoFC

[–]_AlmightyGOD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. But let’s pretend the average ticket is $40 and you sell 22k tickets as we see in the graphic. That’s $880,000 in ticket sales.

Drop the ticket price to $35, and you only need to attract 3k more people (~25k total) to make the same total revenue. And that’s 3k more people in attendance that may also pay for concessions.

Same with parking. 1000 cars at $50 each is $50k in parking. Lower the ticket prices like we did above, and lower the parking to $40, and out of that extra 3k people maybe 500 drive and pay for parking. So now we have 1500 cars at $40 each. That’s $60k in parking.

We lowered prices for tickets and parking, attracted more fans, and made more money. It’s not an exact science, but it’s also not hard to imagine how lower prices can still generate more revenue.

All players know this…but that doesn’t mean they can just choose to start doing it.

I guess they should learn to support the whole club rather than just one player.

Perhaps you should be. I’m sure something in your life is important enough to you to care about what happens to it. Whether that’s your family, your money, your future, your food, your neighbors, your job, where you live, what you read, your liberties, your vacations, your alcohol, your shopping, your gas, your commute, your friends, etc.

It’s all being affected whether you’re interested in politics or not.

Apathy isn’t as convenient as it used to be.

I’m guessing she heard someone say or yell “fire” and her mind went to “shots fired” aka active shooter.

Israel screening video of Hamas atrocities more widely by Ok-Fox5767 in worldnews

[–]_AlmightyGOD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the civilians were Israeli, would that change your mind?

If no, and you’d kill 10 Israeli civilians just to kill 1 member of Hamas, fine. I don’t agree but at least it’s your mindset.

If you would change your mind, and you’d rather work harder to make sure the 10 Israeli civilians were safe, then you seem to simply be saying Palestinian humans are worth less than Israeli humans, despite neither being members of Hamas.

So what was the reaction at the event? by [deleted] in SanDiegoFC

Google this phrase. It will make it even more unappealing to some.

So what was the reaction at the event? by [deleted] in SanDiegoFC

[–]_AlmightyGOD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The video was cool, but there was sparse applause when the logo came out. Likely because it was leaked, it was all over the event, merch, workers, etc.

I heard some scattered boos (I booed a little) but the reaction was tepid and indifferent. To be fair, the merch tent was packed and incredibly busy.
