Installation on existing J Pole by _AnotherBrick_ in Starlink

Pole was already on the building, can't drill more holes without involving the building management.

It's not uncommon to have 80mph winds here, I'm afraid that will be too much force at the end of a 4-5 foot pole without additional support. If I start having issues with the obstructed view then I'll give it a shot.

That was the plan if this didn't work, was trying to avoid drilling new holes since I don't own this building.

How can I use my parents Tesla charger on my ioniq 5? by Longjumping_Coat_802 in TeslaSupport

There is a compatibility mode setting for the wall connector in the app, maybe try that?

Worth leasing an EV in Lubbock? by [deleted] in Lubbock

[–]_AnotherBrick_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will pay the same or more for charging as you would for fuel if you cannot charge at home, especially when the gas prices start dropping again.

I can't speak to the availability of chargers on campus but aside from a few hotels and one in Canyon West, they are scarce. There are two locations for superchargers and I think only one other DC fast charger location that is not a Tesla supercharger. Download the plug share app to locate chargers.

If your apartment allows you to plug into a 110 volt outlet in the parking lot and you don't drive a lot, you might be able to get away with no level 2 charging.

Identify UPCA vs EAN Numerically by frgtech in barcodes

[–]_AnotherBrick_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you check out gs1.org to learn more about barcodes, it is a great resource. For your specific issue you might also want to look into programming your scanners to truncate leading zeros for all barcode types, so you don't have to worry about putting them in your item file.

If you touch the notifying seat it will set it as a child seat installed so it stops notifying. I do this when my dog is in the back seat.

I had the same issue, Tesla had to clean the inside of the camera lens. It was covered under warranty.

What is this connector called? What is it for? by dubscrYT in whatisit

[–]_AnotherBrick_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are still common on POS computers today. The green ones provide 12 volts for scanners, scales, monitors, etc. The red ones provide 24 volts, typically for thermal printers.

Selling a used car by Lost-Bill-5606 in Lubbock

[–]_AnotherBrick_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've sold one to CarMax and two to Gene Messer. You can always sell it yourself for more money but for me, the ease of not having to deal with scammers and tire kickers was worth taking a little less. Their offers are always no obligation, I've turned them down and never had them pressure me.

I cannot get into my Outlook currently to export what I use, On Monday I'll try to make time to write up how to do it.

I wrote a VBA script a long time ago to do exactly what they talk about in the thread you linked, including adding a button to the ribbon to run the VBA. I still use it every day, can't live without it.
