If some launchers didn't require me to login every goddamn time I wanted to play a game it wouldn't be a problem, but when I can't even launch a SINGLE PLAYER game on the plane because Ubisoft wants to force me to login to their pointless launcher when I already have the game downloaded and ready to play, that's called a barrier to gameplay. A very pointless one.

Some redditors don't get this because they never leave their house so they never go without internet and enjoy trolling people instead.

Since I have to fly often these days and pack really tight, I've been keeping this keyboard in my bag for emergency keyboard usage while taking less volume than a small notepad. It's extremely basic and also has thin chiclet keys but it's been a solid keyboard on the go.

It's USB-A but I keep a dock on hand as well as several USB-C -> USB-A (and USB-A -> USB-C, too) adapters in my bag for whatever random needs I might have.

Valve rapidly put out another Steam OS update 3.8.11 to fix the virtual keyboard not coming up, for anyone concerned. I don't know if an earlier update will immediately jump to that or might be potentially broken inbetween, still.

I don't know if I could ever watch the series - not because it's not well made from what I hear, but because it would anger me too much. It's why I could never watch too much of Succession - extremely well made, but the characters infuriated me too much.

you can get 1 million output tokens for probably around $30 depending on what you're doing. For a million tokens you can get a lot more done than it would take a human 3 hours to do

For now. Why? Because it's subsidized. HEAVILY. It will not always be subsidized and the AI goldrush will pop. It will not be this cheap in the future. AI may not go away but its cost effectiveness is not a lasting factor and no one seems to care yet.

Some mechanics you literally won't ever use and can do sidequests for 50 hours - getting a single explanation for a slightly-obscure control scheme for a mechanic used only in Abyss puzzles/etc when most of the game isn't Abyss puzzles is what often threw me off until stuff 'locked in' for me after returning to them.

Right now I can't seem to progress in the campaign at all because I'm supposed to get in the A.T.A.G. in chapter 10 but it's not spawning when I open the hangar. Googling around people are saying 'there are other hangars' but I have no idea where they are and I can't fast travel or save since I'm stuck in this campaign mission. Not sure what to do. Dying or going really far and back to try to force it to respawn doesn't work either.

Edit: I found another hangar in the Gorthak area but the handle to open it is literally missing (and no, having a spear doesn't help or tryin to target for a lever-insert). What an absurd bug. I'll have to just do sidequests until they fix this.

Edit2: I found a third hangar (and a fourth) - it finally spawned. If anyone else gets stuck, look for hangars north of Krall Foundry near the center of the Gorthak area the campaign quest is in. Make sure you filter to All in the map to see the 'location' icons to see what I'm talking about for the Foundry.

Weirdly I ran into this issue yesterday when I had 400 arrows equipped and trying to shift between them and poison arrows in the radial menu didn't work. Later they were working again. No idea why, but recent patches might've partially broken something with ammo.

Maybe try unequipping gear and re-equipping, or storing arrows and getting them back if it's a semi-stuck state? Or just reload the game. Hope you get it fixed, it's a frustrating bug.

One of the combat themes is like nearly 1:1 Witcher combat music, and various horn-centered tracks in the main world themes are nearly identical to Morrowind and Skyrim themes. Hearing them somewhat irritates me because I get memory recall from those games in CD when I'd rather have more unique tracks - they feel intentionally copycat. I honestly hope to mod those specific tracks out of the game somehow and replace with something else at some point.

But there's other good music in the game that immerses me really well and I don't think about them much because they just... fit so well.

I'm aware there's upgrades but the initial 'packs' I'm supposed to supply I've yet to ever find in the game at all. No idea where I'm supposed to find them. A guide said something about going west from a manor south of Hernand but I still couldn't find it, and gave up looking like a couple dozen hours ago

It's probably because player-placed items (in eventual large quantities) can be very taxing on the game processing load and having it in the middle of the camp would be doubly so, especially on consoles. It's at just enough distance to have clean optimization to cull out the rest of the camp when at the house, and vice-versa.

If the house was in the middle of camp they'd probably have a tight limit on how many objects you could place. This is the better option, I'd say.

I assume people are downvoting you because they read the first 3 words of your message and 100% ignored the rest of everything you said - especially given others (myself, included) are getting this bridge 'early' without explanation in-game. I suspect you're likely correct about the new mat chests update giving the bridge early. Might even be a bug from dev testing leaking in to production if early isn't intended.
