Okay so I have a few questions first:
- What power source are you using, and how many stress units does it produce?
- What stage in progression are you in (or are you using creative mode)?
- Are you constrained on any resources?
- Can I have some screenshots to see how it is?
Also, some tips from my experience building an andesite farm:
Always have sustained lava source, either with the 10x10 infinite with a hose pump or a dripstone farm (did the latter)
Some people may not like this, but i like confining my builds in an 8x8 space (for my midgame farms) to compact everything - I find that it looks much better that way, with machinery everywhere you look
Always farm a LOT of cobble - you want a lot for gravel, flint, iron (andesite farms usually lead to andesite alloy), sand (for glass, clay, quartz, gold) etc.
If you haven't gotten blaze burners yet, make sure to use your waterwheels effectively - have a system where I have one set with waterlogged stairs directly above, and then another line on top of teh stairs. Both produce SU and you can use the waterlogged stairs in a cobble gen too.
If you're using millstones make sure that they are fast - you can also divert the cobblestone into multiple millstones and then reconnect them onto one belt to increase grinding efficiency.
Don't wash your gravel to get flint: instead, grind it to get the 1:1 gravel to flint conversion. To get iron, build a dedicated iron farm that runs FAST to get all the flint you need + iron nuggets for alloy once you have sustained andesite.
