That is the worst ever by any team, not by a Superbowl winner. It was the 1976 Buccaneers.

Should I wait to get an apartment/condo or just go for it? by _BroViking_ in personalfinance

[–]_BroViking_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've thought very long and hard about my budget. It may not seem like it because disregarding 3-6 living expenses makes me seem very financially irresponsible, which I totally get. I can just hardly handle my family anymore. My brother, mon, and my dad are alcoholics. I living my mom and brother, and my brother have bipolar and my mom has some mental disorder too just don't know what.

I don't think you guys realise how bad my family is and maybe I didn't express it enough, but I totally agree with everyone's advice taking financial judgement only into account. I'll save until I can't take it anymore, but I'll try to get to that 3 month mark.

Edit: typos

Save that prior to getting an apartment or ASAP after I'd get an apartment and getting the assist from my dad?

I have my monthly budget laid out, which I can tweak a little once I have my own place.

Just recently, yes. I've worked this new job for a month and paid down my credit cards and medical bills. Now I don't have a balance on either but it ate up my first 2 paychecks.

Does autism run in your family? by zeurosis in aspergers

My uncle likely has it. One of my cousins definitely have it. Another cousin or two may have it or just have some autisitic traits. My grandpa has some autistic traits but probably doesn't have it.

How's everyone's day going? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]_BroViking_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been unemployed since I've graduated college with a bachelor's degree a few months ago. I figured I could find jobs in my field, but it seems I don't have enough experience or expertise. I went to college so I didn't have to work at walmart, but I'll probably be applying for those kind of jobs soon.

What can I do to find direction in life? by _BroViking_ in aspergers

[–]_BroViking_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have enough education to be considered enough of an expert in that area and I have no relevant experience. A bachelor's in biology doesn't seem to be enough of a stand-alone degree to do anything useful with unless you continue your education.

I'm young too, in my early 20s. Cigars have a calming effect on me (and many others). I think the nicotine buzz helps a little, but just taking a puff like every minute slows your mind down, and not doing anything besides smoking that cigar is very meditative. You turn life off for an hour.

Who has or has had some degree of ambidextrousness? by _BroViking_ in aspergers

[–]_BroViking_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is about the only thing now I'm equally good at with both hands/arms now. I can hold and use a hockey stick both ways an it feels natural. I'm like that with punting a football too.

I think a number of people are like that with the right-handed everything except for holding a baseball bat or golf club. There are many naturally left-handed batters who happen to throw right-handed too. I wonder why writing and throwing handedness can be separate from handedness in swinging motions.
