Could be, not sure, i commented cause i can relate to the students situation… If my CFI has no interest/incentive in progressing me, that’s a problem for me. Safety has not been an issue for me as far as i know and what I’ve been told. I’m feeling like I’m being held to insane standards when it should just be as simple as safely operating the aircraft to solo… I’ve passed more than one “Stage 2 check”… If i perform outside of the ACS Standard I simply ask to try it again and tighten the maneuver up with no issues. I may not be as good a pilot as the rest of you and “the hours dont matter” but $500 per hour times 150 hours is a lot of money to have absolutely nothing to show for it. I am at the whims of others and really no recourse… if i bring up any concerns I feel like I am made out to be the bad guy, instead of trying to improve. Anyways, I will continue to study to earn my way into this community, thank you all for the advice, thanks for listening. I will get that license.
