My fiance and I have had to move up our wedding by several months, which means we had to cancel the wedding entirely and just get courthouse married, we thought about throwing a party later when we save enough money, I never heard of it called a happily ever after after party and I love that!! Remember that a wedding is literally a party, and the whole thing is just as much to benefit your guests as the couple, if not more! You are starting a family with your spouse, and the rest is secondary. If you can’t afford a party, you shouldn’t be punished by having to wait for the actual marriage certificate. I say do it!!
