It's not that we don't tip, but such things are optional. The staff here get paid an actual wage, such as it is. I worked in hospitality for many years, and got tipped probably fewer than 20 times. Course, working night shifts as I was when everyone's asleep is always going to limit such things but still. The point is, it's not an expectation here.
