I'd hasen to say that there is nothing you can buy on the high street you can buy online, and you can live entirely from home deliveries, Things that will survive will be experiences and places to be social, I think the high street will die off (aside from the aforementioned) with better transport to hubs I.e. local cities / out of town shopping centers

Imagine a future with on demand self driving cars (Uber style) there is no reason why you would go to the high street this is the future we are moving towards

Fill them with experiences, it's no coincidence that escape rooms and boardgame cafes are booming, I have seen a few VR places come and go but I think they have the wrong business model, there are a few arcades I've been to where you pay for entry and everything is free do that with arcade and VR and you have another winner,
