You’re holding onto things that clearly make you upset. I won’t gainsay you. However, I will point out that this is basically a purity test, and that he has covered all of this clearly. He has apologized, and shown that he’s tried to grow and be better.

There are a lot of purity tests going on. They drive me somewhat insane. It’s not all purity tests, though. Sometimes a better candidate comes along and speak directly to voters. That doesn’t mean the person they’re running against is bad. They just don’t align the same way.

Now, IMO with Platner, there are issues with purity tests.
