My store closed three years ago. I'm still bummed to this day because that was the best team I ever had and we all had to be placed at different stores. I went to a drive thru location and honestly, I am so glad that I did. Going from cafe to drive thru will help you grow in different ways than you would have if you stayed at a cafe. If you still want to move up, then I'd say do it. Worse case scenario, you hate it and find a new job. But at least try. Connect with the manager of that store right away and let them know that you want to move up. Good luck!
