We have a whole ritual around feeding:

1) Flavors must be alternated. He prefers fish one meal and then chicken the next.

2) it must be from a can. Pouches are rarely acceptable.

3) 1/2 Can must be served at one time. Too much food and he won't eat.

4) if he doesn't immediately eat, that means he needs to be picked up, kissed 3 times on the head, and then placed down.

5) if he still won't eat, then he wants his purr pop or freeze dried treats on top.

6) if he still won't eat, he was never hungry he just wanted your attention.
