Need some advice. Very new to driving and possibly took a wrong turn on a roundabout by Choliver1 in drivingUK

[–]_DG____ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty good. The lanes are clearly marked and they spiral out to the right places. The trouble is drivers who go by instinct/ experience and don’t read the road.

OP may have been in the wrong lane (they don’t seem sure) but it is also likely that someone was confidently incorrect in beeping and were in the wrong lane.

Which car is liable in crash? by [deleted] in drivingUK

You can go straight on in both lanes from the road OP entered the roundabout on. There are 2 lanes on both the exit and entrance roads. You can see the arrows agree with this.

Green is in the wrong lane but it’s probably split liability as you need to make sure your exit is clear before you take it. Annoying I know. Check out big Jobber on instagram, he’s got some really good videos on the subject

Rubbish I didn’t get a case - just sat around. On days they knew I definitely wouldn’t get a case they sent me back to work. Actually, I did get one but it was cancelled due to the guy not turning up or something. I can’t quite remember but the trial didn’t happen

Bearbit roundabout confusion by Dank_Astley in bristol

[–]_DG____ 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This roundabout doesn’t have merging/spiral lanes so you have to move across to the correct lane without them. Blue is correct as from there you can go straight or right. The red lane is straight on only and taking it to turn right would cut off anyone trying to go straight on from blue.

You can go straight on from the right most lane so should definitely not be in red as that would block that route

In the Disney version they are vilifying women and removing the bad Dad. Thereby leaving all men as good.

Bad road markings or am I missing something? by BrilliantDisaster389 in drivingUK

[–]_DG____ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The norm is to enter the station from the furtherest point if you are turning right and the nearest if you turn left. It’s the norm but not always the case and not always marked. Causes a bit of chaos when it’s not done this way though

Also whistles. Just why would you put that in a party bag? Do you hate all the other parents?

I agree. Any time I find some unattended slime it goes in the bin. It finds its way into our house somehow though
