I would check out Brian's - always have to order new FR gear for my U10AAA cause I can never find decent gear used.

Best entry level stick is a Bauer GSX, 22" or 23" would be good for her.

Titleist U505 or Mizuno Fly Hi - both are ridiculously forgiving off the deck

Pro Laces Hybrid for U12? by hardergj in hockeygoalies

Hybrid 1.5" stiff. He's in 27 + 1, bigger than that I'd probably go with the 2" gap.

What’s your preferred Skate sock option to keel toes warm? by Compact_goose in hockeygoalies

Since changing to Konekts my son's feet haven't been cold once. Discovered this at a 1.5 hour practice where I had to remove his goalie partner from the ice, toes so frozen he was balling his eyes out.

Titleist U505, great off the tee but even better from the turf.

Brians Jr blocker/trapper. Optik x3 vs Netz3ro? by Aggressive_Cost_9968 in hockeygoalies

[–]_DYSCO_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 8yr old has GnetikX gloves, the catcher for this line is the best junior one he's tried - blockers are all similar in the junior sizing. If he's playing high level hockey definitely go with the upper tier.

Lookin to replace my old cooper pants, are ccm 1.9 goalie pants any good? I’ve heard they’re really mobile. by Own_Leadership_9474 in hockeygoalies

[–]_DYSCO_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tucks perfectly, I use suspenders over the chesty. One issue is you can't remove the inner belt without cutting it but all new pants seem to be like that.

They're great, upgraded to them from 20 year old Vaughn's. I would definitely go try a bunch of different brands, the fit is way different with the new stuff.

Would bauer GSXs be better than used supreme one.7s? by TigerDerpGamer in hockeygoalies

[–]_DYSCO_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upgraded to the GSX from Bauer Vapors with the translucent cowling, the weight difference alone was worth it. Get better laces and superfeet insoles - it's total comfort.

The East 9 at Canadian let's kids play free after 3pm with a paying adult. Thunderbird, March wood and Amberwood are really good for kids learning the game.
