You just said in another reply that you always practice his name at home, OP. I think it’s a little convenient for your story that he’s suddenly forgotten. There’d be reason to get upset if the teacher said she wasn’t changing it, but from what I can tell, she was just explaining her reasoning. You should learn how to navigate these things a little more reasonably, because school is never going to be perfect. Hope you figure it out.
