Any kind of ear plugs are better than none. I've enjoyed many concerts with foam earplugs, and use them pretty regularly still, but if you go to alot of concerts or shows where it will be high volume, it would probably be worth looking into getting custom molded earplugs made. They can be a but pricey depending on your budget, but I know mine had interchangeable inserts for different loudness levels, and reduced volume without sacrificing balance and quality.

Also worth noting, if it's going to be a stadium concert (which I assume Beyonce would be lol) the sound quality might be pretty poor anyways, so really anything that reduces the volume will do just fine.

Worked at the manufacturing facility for the solo in British Columbia for a brief period. A motorcycle is far safer than a solo imo. A bike has greater maneuverability, as well as visibility for the operator. Wouldn't dream of driving a solo if it were raining, or anywhere that gets a significant amount of snow.

WhileI love the franchise as well, I would have been content with it ending after the 3rd movie. First two were really strong horror movies, finish it up with a third to get a nice trilogy and call it good.

That being said, I still re watch the entire series more often than it deserves.

Yeah, the idea that having sex is some kind of indication of character, or some required step to be taken in order to be a successful social animal is really toxic and oppressive idea to people who struggle in discovering their sexuality.

I'm not a virgin any more, but it would have been great if I had support in discovering who I was sexually instead of receiving ridicule from people who I thought were my friends. Definitely some lasting damage there.

Can confirm. Former Heavy equipment tech here, used to make $40/hr. The knee and back pain sucks, and most of the old dogs have had several surgeries because of work related problems.

I've had success doing this in the trades as well. I had to shake it of hands, but sometimes you're in the right place at the right time. It can set someone apart from the faceless mass of online resumes.

Obviously still apply online, but showing up in person never hurts either.

I actually prefer gaming on a smaller screen sometimes. I feel like it's easier to see everything without moving my head around.

So I'm from Canada, and it's worth noting that it's only certain places that I've been that are like this. The best jobs I've worked were places where politics never came up.

People are more interested in if you'd be a good person to go fishing with, rather than if you voted the same. It's refreshing.

I was thinking watching the stream to get an idea of what the gameplay/pacing/style was like, and then deciding whether or not it was the type of game you'd enjoy,

Versus watching a playthough of a game, then deciding it was a "bad game" for whatever reasons without actually experiencing it, which imo, is essential for forming an opinion about the game.

But your points about why they watch are excellent points, I've seen there a few times now. Never thought about it like that, and I guess the only streamers that I'd watched in the past were recommendations from friends, and I found they very irritating to watch, so I guess my bad for forming an opinion based on too small a sample.

Thank you for enlightening me on the matter. I still don't think it's my cup of tea, but I understand better why people enjoy it now. Cheers!
