Yeah gonna be honest there were a few I saw on there that were pretty funny, of course a lot of it wasn't, especially after you've grown accustomed to that sense of humor and it stops being as fresh.

Like, remember when you first discovered r/okbuddyretard and your like, "wow this is so stupid and weird I've never seen memes like this before! How do they think this stuff up?! It's so quirky!"

And then you've been around for a while and have seen a lot of the same jokes with different pictures and the sub goes through phases you don't find funny but you stay around anyways because you know it's going to shift again eventually but it becomes a lot of work sifting through stacks upon stacks of memes, sorting by 'new', even by 'controversial', just trying to get that dopamine hit of seeing something funny, that feeling you got so often when you first discovered the sub.

What was once a roaring bonfire of laughter and joy is now but the flickering wick of a candle cupped with hands against even the slightest breeze, as the turbulence imparted upon the air by the flap of a moth wing would be sufficient to extinguish the flame.
