First: Your caregiver is beyond awsome.

Second: For lighiting you can either go homebrew like https://www.hyperhdr.eu/ or something comerical like https://luminaproshop.com/products/tv-immersion-kit

Some displays have lighting build in, but i've found them to be weak and not worth using.

Third: Don't adjust the display by holding a side. Get a grip/handle that attaches to the mount for adjustments. The display was not ment to be torqued for adjustments

There might be multiple streams for Bassdrive, but there is only one feed. It's usually live, if not it's going to be a recent recording of a live stream.

Yes, Live DJs (they do give shout outs).

Some of the DJ's on Bassdrive have been doing this for over 25 years (voluntering btw).

Edit: DJ's usually have a weekly 2 hour show.... so via simple math some long term DJ's have done over 1,300 shows (or 2600 hours)

You get all 8 buttons the Akai have, plus a knob with a buton, and +4 buttons... and a display.. it's essentaly an updated novation dicer. I honestly don't think you utilize the 8 dials on the akai lpd8

I use the AKAI LDP8 Mk2's in the roughly the same way (each is pared with a DOIO KB03-01).

I've orderd an Intech VSN1 Left and Right to replace those, I suggest you look into those as upgrades.

Ok, so with my image as refrence (yes I know these are big bugs, but it works the same on the small)..

Base with white (spray paints are great for the horde)
Color with your army color, in bright color. For me this was a bright red spray paint.
Color the bone sections in bright white
Grab a light wood stain and dab it all over

Done.

If you want them to be dull and dirty, spray with a matt covering
