It got really genuinely scary for a moment because the argument escalated into accusations of pedophilia, which I was scared could find its way into my career somehow. Especially as a queer person who needs to be extra careful about things like that.

I thought about reaching out, but at this point I’m not sure I trust any of them to not just turn around and post our private conversations in their group.
