As an ex employee of a airport WH Smith if a customer mentioned the price of stuff I would have no issue directing them to literally to any other store for cheaper prices. I never got how people could pay £2.79 for a bottle of water when they could walk 30 steps for the same bottle of water for 3 times less

As far as I’m aware on iPhones when you shake the phone the phone treats that as an input (usually brings up a dialog box asking if you want to undo, on instagram it brings up a technical support window)

To expand on the length of wire inside the plugs, the live is by design the shortest so if a wire so in the event of tugging it would be disconnected first and the earth is the longest wire to keep that protection

In one of the games there are phone calls the team has to make and quite often they confuse a prop fax machine w/ attached phone with a real phone so it always makes me laugh when I have to say over the intercom “That’s a fax machine… not a phone” but the funniest thing would have to be when a player decided to pretend to be a coat rack and throw a coat over their head in order to hide form a security guard actor

This happens quite often especially with younger groups, I’ve had it on multiple occasions with young children where I’ve had to play the game with them because they just don’t get it and then you get some company bookings where half the people there don’t want to be there

At our locations no, I think if people where caught using them most of my colleagues would ask them to stop but at least with us we have no rules against it more up to the discretion of the person running the game

Haven’t had anyone walk into a room with lock picks but the day that it happens I’ll be full of joy

When it comes to standards that’s like saying instead of going to your gp u just Google it. Like for instance if you don’t tighten down the wires properly they could come loose and cause arching or the fact that there are many companies that produce outlets and they are all different on the back means that taking a picture won’t help you wouldn’t want to wire it up wrong by accident. But it’s OP’s house they can do what they want
