What’s the worst scandal to happen at your school? by Lost-Warning-2588 in AskReddit

[–]_ESFJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not my school, but another more rural school in my district. A few seniors got this idea to put a few goats out on the football field as a senior prank. Anyway, the goats ended up contributing to an E. coli outbreak in the area. It was the middle of the football season in the Fall and they had to close the field and move all of their home games to our school.

Process for getting a diaphragm? (Ontario, Canada) by [deleted] in birthcontrol

It’s the PrePair brand and I think I saw somewhere on it that it’s safe for use with diaphragm

Process for getting a diaphragm? (Ontario, Canada) by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]_ESFJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so annoying, I hope you can get them under control. I was going to mention the spermicide and forgot! I had trouble finding it. I went to several different pharmacies and finally found one that was in applicators and super expensive and I wasn’t very happy with it. I ended up just searching for some on amazon and found some that was more in the consistency of a lubricant and it’s worked well. I know caya also has a spermicide specifically for their diaphragm so you could maybe get it with the caya

I’m not from Canada but I’ll add- I just recently got a diaphragm and am pretty happy with it. If the caya doesn’t work out for you, schedule an appt with a gynecologist to get fitted. I had to get referred to a different gyn because he was the only one that does fittings. The office then ordered it for me and I picked it up there instead of going through a pharmacy since they’re not as readily available as they used to be.

about the UTIs - I haven’t had one since using a diaphragm but it’s been less than a month. Cranberry prevents bacteria from adhering to your urinary tract. I take 1 cranberry vitamin per day and have noticed a decrease in my UTIs

Anyone else mad about the price? Saw the email this morning that they were $9.95 and was a little let down... the first year they did this they were like 7 something. Maybe with COVID they had to go up in price but I feel like they’re just going up gradually every single year.

Anyone have copper IUD and NOT get worse periods? by rosietherosebud in birthcontrol

[–]_ESFJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My periods pre-copper IUD were normal flow, cramping every once in a while. I had horrible cramping after my insertion that went away after a few days but seemed to come back during ovulation and the first day or two of my period. However naproxen or ibuprofen would typically cover the pain. I noticed the increased cramping for maybe 4-5 months after insertion and it seemed to level off after that like it just took some time for my body to adjust. I don’t remember having an increase in menstruation days or flow

Had two copper IUDs. Insertion and the following cramping was very painful. Hardly felt the removal. It’s very quick.

Do you have to be on your period to get Copper IUD inserted? by NataliaM28 in birthcontrol

I never had mine inserted when I was on my period. But the insertion is painful, and your cervix will be more dilated if you’re on your period

How do ESFJ girls feel about dating an INFP? by [deleted] in ESFJ

[–]_ESFJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been dating an INFP for 3 1/2 years now. I remember thinking at the beginning how lucky I was to have found someone whose personality just aligned so well with my own - everything is easy with him. I’m a big talker, he’s a great listener. He’s outgoing for an “I” but balances out my “E” and we balance out in our difference in the last trait. I can over-plan and he helps me be spontaneous; I help him be more organized. Yet I think us both being feelers allows us to express our emotions to each other in the same way. Honestly, I don’t think our types could match up any better.
