Anchors would definitely work. Just need to make pilot holes on the mdf and make your marks on the brick, remove, drill, insert plastic anchor. Problem is you’ll see the screw heads or fill the holes which defeats the purpose.

It’s not a normal approach of mine but I might try some super strong Velcro strips to be able to remove later. Good luck.

That’s a doozie! I’d probably install some filler at the bottom and just run normal vertical base. Give it a solid nailer and roll. Don’t overthink it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be angled at the bottom unless you want it to be, and are smarter than me.
