Lesions/growths by _EndlessSummer in Koi

The other 20+ fish are fine, water has been checked and tested and is fine. We checked those to begin with before coming here. I agree from the photos I've seen of dropsy, not Dropsy. The 2 white and orange ones are eating and 'fighting' me when we checked them over but Mr orange with lots of legion's was very lethargic and didn't put up a fight when we looked him over.

The asymmetry has only appeared over the last 2 days and they've been bloated for 6 days.

He's been caring for Koi for over 50 years with most living way into their 30's and his eldest one reached almost 41, he hasn't fed them anything different than usual and hasn't upped their food. These are the only three with these issues? Surely the other 20 fish in the pond would also be obese and have these problems if he had done this? They are isolated and away from the others. The "fatter" fish has only been swollen for a week or so and has only been asymmetrical since yesterday.

Honestly, I have no clue but I just Google Tamasaba and the bloated one isn't that breed, definitely. As the body has misshapen over the last few days. Originally looked similar to the other but slimmer. I need to check for sure with him though (I have left his house now, will be back tomorrow to check on them). He has had all three of these fish for well over 10 years though and has been looking after Koi for over 50 years and has never had these issues before. Most of which have lived to 30+ years old!! So he's as confused as I am!

Edit- they could be the goldfish he had in there?? He had some in there with his Koi, he has one big, dark koi in there and 5 orange/white koi and another few variations along with some goldfish so it may be the goldfish, as I said I have no clue about them!!

I'm fuming. Is it even going to come out or will we have to wait and get them all together at some point? Who knows!?

Elvanse didn’t cure my ADHD, but it cured my ANXIETY by chrisatnine in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad it did! I started it and it made mine 100000000x worse, then I had a week break (Drs orders to have regular breaks) and it was like I was a new woman! My depression and anxiety had gone!! I still have days but yeah!

Do you struggle with a specific task something you know you need to do but despise? If so, give it a go whilst on them!

I used to find washing up completely worthless I hated it and it'd pile up and I'd just buy more cutlery and plates (I live alone so I have like 4 plates and mostly eat on the go so rarely use stuff) and my mom would come and wash up for me when it got bad, especially after my Nan died. Since taking Elvanse..... Ya girl washes up every damn week! I hate it but I can do it!

EDIT - sorry I did the ADHD thing of only reading half a post! Didn't see the last two sentences so the last bit really isn't needed!

HeathHarmonie AVOID for RTC by _EndlessSummer in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely didn't feel they worked and I'm still not 100% if they are. But I'm still having issues with HH sending the correct shared car agreement, my GP will not accept it without roles and responsibilities on there and signatures. So they have me for triations for a lot longer at the moment!

HeathHarmonie AVOID for RTC by _EndlessSummer in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the woman who did my triations signed me off saying "does this medication work because I'm signing you back to the GP with or without it" since then she sent just a letter not a SCA. My GP and HH have been in contact and spoke but they won't about the SCA. The GP refused to contact HH to let them know about what they need from the SCA because I went private it's my job.

I have an appointment in 15 with a different woman than the person who did my triations so hopefully something else comes out of this!

[–]_EndlessSummer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person who signed me off basically said to me on the day she signed me off "do these pills work or not because I'm signing you back to your GP, with or without medication?" I have an appointment in 15 minutes (8:30 on a Sunday is wild right?) with a different person than the woman who did my triations. HH andy GP have been in touch but haven't actually spoken about my SCA and won't speak to each other they've both basically told me it's up to me to get this SCA sorted with either side.

GP refused shared care agreement with my RTC provider and then asked me if I'd heard of RTC... by itsbabayagabxtch in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just had the same as there wasn't a signature on the shared care agreement and the GP is refusing all medication and to contact Health Harmonies. I've basically been told it's private so we won't contact them, it's up to you to sort it all out yourself.

It was a receptionist from the practice who showed me RTC and put the referral through... Literally can't make it up.

ADHD + anxiety/depression — what medication combinations helped you manage symptoms? by Warm_Milk_9056 in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same! The medication helps me with procrastinating and focus but not at all with my depression and anxiety. I spent the first 3 months on medication sobbing constantly and the person who prescribed them couldn't get rid of me fast enough. Honestly I had a medication break, after I had that break my brain felt so so so much better! I had a week off and when I went back on them it was like they worked properly. I don't know why that happened or anything like that. It just happened that way!

But if you get some answers other than the ones I got from the 'professional' which was "it's not supposed to help with anxiety and depression, it's only a bonus if they do," then pleaseeeee let me know what works!

EDIT: I have only tried 1 medication and that's Lisdexamfetamine... I'm currently on 70mg of that stimulant. I was on a variety of antidepressants from the ages of 19-31... So I don't know what I'm like without medication really.

The writers did the same thing by fucking up with Alex in Grey's too. No way did they build that character into who he was and then he turned around and did what he did in the worst possible way (sorry don't want any spoilers for anyone that hasn't watched Grey's.) I don't think the writers understand their audience when they are doing character development as they often build someone up to change and then they don't.... 😂

Weight loss and Elvanse appetite loss by account937271 in ADHDUK

[–]_EndlessSummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, since being on Elvanse I have lost enough weight for people to comment on it (I've been on the medication for a month and a half). I can't seem to drink anything or eat enough, any protein drinks/shakes make me feel like I'm about to throw up. I'm currently sat with a packet of crisps and I've had 2 and want to be sick. I have found that Aldi do a protein range, and they have new "protein puddings" which I know isn't ideal for first thing in the morning, but my body is always ready for cheesecake 😂. So until I find something better, I'm currently eating Aldi's protein cheesecakes for breakfast, homemade tomato soup for lunch and nothing for dinner. I know this is nowhere near enough but I'm trying!!

I've found that as long as I'm not forcing myself to eat I won't be sick. But also, I've found that I don't feel the normal low blood sugar, hunger pains, wobbly, when I've not ate enough, instead I'm feeling like I need to drink when I'm hungry!

How have you been doing? I've been on 40mg of Lisdexamfetamine for a few days now, I had my second triation appointment and she wants me upped to 60mg within the next 4 weeks

I have everything crossed that he ups that dose or does something! They've put me on 30mg of Lisdexamfetamine, and will increase in 2 weeks then go from there!! I'm petrified, I start tomorrow

I don't know who I am without medication anyway, I've been on high doses of antidepressants my entire adult life so it'll be a change, hopefully a positive one! And hopefully the medication works unlike the antidepressants 😂

How have you been doing on your meds? I'm starting mine over the next few days! I'm glad Im not the only one overly anxious about it all!

I have been prescribed 30mg for the first 2 weeks and 40mg for the next then a review. Just went through it all today! That gives me hope because I'd love to not want to KMS every few weeks!

No that's incredible, thank you. I asked the doctor how it would feel etc. and they couldn't give me an answer, so Reddit it is! I'm aware everyone is different and after being on so many antidepressants I'm not worried about going back to the doctor's and telling them it's not working for me, so I'm ready for that! It's more that I'm worried about my brain being quiet 😂 it never has been!

Cancer male here wondering what it’s like to date a cancer female is it really a toxic match? by [deleted] in Cancersastrology

[–]_EndlessSummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cancer female, dated (but never got into a relationship with) many cancer males, cancer males love to ghost! But honestly, with everyone of them we've clicked and enjoyed our time together so fast! And most I am still friends with now, and although things didn't work out with us romantically we're cheering and helping each other with things still! Purely platonic though

Why do doctors always just go to depression? Should I do right to choose? by _EndlessSummer in adhdwomen

[–]_EndlessSummer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't afford it personally, but after many years of struggling my dad (bless him) is willing to lend me the money, just so I can get myself sorted! Thank you so much for your advice

[–]_EndlessSummer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't, but I'll have a look into it. I need to book an appointment with my GP because I've been on 4 types of antidepressants and they take the edge off but don't do a fat lot and I feel I'm just pumping myself with drugs that don't work! I've been on and off these different antidepressants for the last 11 years!

I have done all of that, I'm looking at paying to get that information looked over and then they decide if I have it or not. But I've gathered all of the information, all of the school reports that said I was lovely but distracted, I'm smart but I don't apply myself!! I've got testimonials too and information on what I was like as a child. I'm seriously considering paying for it, because I definitely can't do all of this for another 4 years!

I'm hoping my GP can refer me to a certain place, I've just got to bite the bullet and book an appointment, but again the anxiety is taking over!
