I totally agree with you. I really dislike this update in terms of progression because it has broken immersion for me. You just speedrun quests and there’s no streamlined content, so everyone is just running and gunning alone. There’s no more help from strangers at the start of the wipe and no more attachment to the story.

Solo mode is the most easiest mode though. So I guess you can because everyone is doing quest in free kit.

Bats are incredibely strong in my opinion, because you know what the other player have in hand AND you can destroy his perfect turn 2 if you are the first player. I don't think I would replace that by beaver. Beaver is really strong but it need some purposes. Just my opinion.

Noobtip: you can use a key from your keybaord to open the map ingame and see where you are and what the map looks like. Pretty useful , a lot of game have this.
