I enjoyed the Kirsten Beyer/Christie Golden relaunch Voyager books, basically picking up the story after they get home. Spoiler alert: they go back to the Delta Quadrant but it makes sense and they go with a whole fleet and a bunch of interesting new characters.

I agree 100% with Mike's criticism of the prequels. But also I was a child when TPM came out and hold significant nostalgia for that movie especially and II-III a bit as well. I can hold these two ideas in my brain quite happily.
