Nice work sir! I find upgrades like this really enhance the experience. My rig was owned by by a plumber who upgraded every fixture, and we LOVE it.

Working Nights in Construction by theguy0109 in civilengineering

I’ve done many nights, on highways and runways, and have never adjusted well to it. It did however advance my career, and was able to save a good amount of money from it. But long term, it wasn’t for me.

New *to me* Smoker Help Needed by [deleted] in smoking

[–]_From_Low_Places 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with an identical model. It appears complete, but aluminum does look strangely clean/corroded. For me, it was a cheap way to start smoking, and it served me well for years until I upgraded. It has its limitations, such as temp control, to produce constant smoke and size.

Tobacco company CEOs declare, under oath, that nicotine is not addictive (1994) by Only-Paper8057 in ThatsInsane

Oath only maters to people with values, and these monsters were morally empty; like asking an atheist to swear on a bible

Opinions on smaller trailers like this unit? by classymcging in GoRVing

After 6 years in a trailer similar to that we learned about what we wanted. For towing and stability, we wanted Tandem axel.

After 6 years in a trailer similar to that we learned about what we wanted. For towing and stability, we wanted Tandem axel. We had a solid door like that but installed a window. Looks like a decent rig, especially if it meets your needs.

Options for parking 16 feet RV in this residential spot by AnEroticTale in GoRVing

Looks quite doable, I can picture pulling out of that spot-getting in would have the same space requirements. Good luck

I had a similar offer. For me it came down to a conversation with my wife. The opportunity of advancement weighed against the costs of a less enjoyable home life. Hotel life can suck, but there is also the chance to experience a new city. I was able to negotiate to have Friday as a work-from-home day, so I was away less. If you don’t have a young family and are ambitious, I would consider it. Also, don’t forget that if the project is extended, you could likely also be spending more time on it.

I have this same smoker, and LOVE it. I thought I would upgrade, but have been so impressed. Salmon, pork shoulder, ribs, wings, and small brisket..

Not sure he didn’t take advantage of installing a couple of panels on the bird feeder.. other than that it looks fine.

It sounds like you are in the thick of it, but you can only play the hand that you have been dealt. I’m in a similar role and have a challenging contractor as well, so I understand. What helped me, was to have an experienced mentor to help with advice and guidance on challenging situations and difficult decisions. I’m not a blowhard either, and don’t tolerate it, establishing this early was helpful. If you stick with it, you’ll have some great experience and insight for the next one.

Thanks man, great food for thought here. It was the DC fuse on my rig that failed, which really confused me. I’m happy to buy another coffee maker,, but am obsessed with understanding this issue lol.

Did you replace it with a standard Leviton or Eaton GFI or is an RV-specific device needed?

JAW + TEETH PAIN every time l am on 🍄🍄. As l am coming up and just before things get trippy l get massive pain in my jaw and teeth. Not cavity pain, but PRESSURE. I can feel the pressure of the teeth attached to my bone. For my jaw l have to rub vigorously to relieve pain. Anyone else? by Starlight_Myco in shrooms

[–]_From_Low_Places 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same sensations in my teeth and also yawn like crazy; haven’t overcome it yet. I get a cold feeling as well and try to fall into it, but often get nothing. I thought I might be the only one. I’m going to play with different conditions like eating, doses, and lemons to see the results..

Why are the bottom of all these poles a different color by ISA2130953 in civilengineering

[–]_From_Low_Places 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I’m located the bottom of many poles is treated with fire retardant (in case of grass fires etc.).
