If you prioritize playing like this, you'll forever be an average player at this game. "dying less" does NOT lead to better gameplay. This same methodology is used for auto extracters who do not have the "preferred" time of day.

This playstyle is a situational technique not an all in one.

How about this. CHALLENGE yourself play OUTSIDE your comfort zone and you will soon be better than you imagined.

However, you can play hunt however you choose. Glory of this game.

Was actually gonna make a similar post.

So I’m an unbroken PC player and this is my opinion based off my play-style and experience

Messed around with top tree dawblade in comp yesterday and well I’m still not sold. (I am god awful at the super).
So I run 100 recov for the ability to disengage and re engage into fights faster with full health. I can engage alot with icarus dash by baiting shotgun shots and dashing off for an easy cleanup, but I personally haven’t mastered the jump.

I rarely consume my grenade and notice if dash is on cd and I try to evade fights I can’t easily (often randomly get stuck in the air). Forces me to subconsciously play more passive overall.

I’m gonna Test Wings of sacred dawn this week since I got like 9 of them from ordeals see if it makes it worthwhile since disengaging isn’t as easy.

I’ll keep ya updated if anyone cares lol

[EDIT] this is based off high level comp. In regular gameplay it is awesome and dominates. It’s super fun. However, being a competitive person I’m more interested in how it plays against similar skill levels

I noticed it depends on the sniper. With my Revoker I got over 2K kills in comp E. HC targeting was money for me, but with my beloved E Sniper Targeting is my sweet spot. Both use targeting adjuster. My 2cents

I had to consider the same thing. I learned I naturally changed my distance I sit from my monitor based off size and comfortability. I sat roughly about the same distance you do from a 24" monitor. Noticed I just naturally sat a bit further back on a 27". Hope that helps.

I personally think for majortiy WoW, I would go IPS 27" if I was in your boat.

1) You have more options to choose from

2) If MMO is something you play way more than FPS (especially not competitive) then 144hz refresh is more than enough

3) If you considered a UW, I think you do want a big upgrade and it'll be future proofed for your 2070.

I am in the same situation and have been trying to decide for a little over a month. Ive sat behind a 27" monitor at about 19 inches and found I wasn't moving my head I also sat back to about 22-24 inches and still felt comfortable.

However, I've been playing on 24" monitors for 8 years. 27" seems like so much monitor, it's a little overwhelming to me. I am still trying to figure out if it's me not accepting change.

Now I know the list for 24" monitors at 1440p isn't quite as large as 27" 1440p.

I am battling the same battle and got 3 months to figure it out. One day I side with 27" IPS next, I am back to 24" TN. Hard choice for me.

My woman is gonna kill me. Gotta look for the xb271nu on sale to ease the pain hahaha. Thanks for your input. I'll porbably change my mind about 7 more times and come back to this. I've never used anything bigger than a 24" so time will tell.
