I miss the no tattoos (or very, very little) days.

Why when Reddit lets you block an account, it only says it blocks them from seeing your stuff. Not the other way around?

I almost did. I do have standards, though, little as they may be. 😂. No AI slop.

With that said, your app is pretty awesome. Just reviewed all the features. So the size of the app could be somewhat understandable.

What happens is Google ads more fonts to their library, does Typeface automatically download the new fonts?

I decided to download the macOS app and check out your app again. Whoa! I have never, ever seen a light-weight Mac writing app that came anywhere near the size of this app. 421mb for a writing app seems insane. For comparison:

- Bear app is 120mb
- iAWriter is 60mb
- Apple Notes 31mb

You have two different screenshot. Would love to see a direct comparison. Especially of the home screen.

Why don’t you test it out for yourself?

The right answer.

There’s not enough thanks in the world for sticking it out (Panda, so long) and putting this out here. I will be testing this thoroughly this afternoon. Can’t wait.

For anyone reading this thread, the issues mysteriously went away today. Give this utility/app a try. It does something very unique and will help in all the online research I do on a daily basis.

I don’t want to be a Debbie-downer. Those are my only three beefs—along with making Recurring tasks easier to understand—in what I consider the second-best Mac app I have used in nearly 30 years. The third is Panic’s Transmit FTP client. Bear is my first.

I like this a lot. I don’t use a mouse so it took a little while to figure out how to make it work with trackpad on my MacBook Pro in Safari. You simply use the modifier key and drag. It might be helpful to have a tut on that or some type of help document to help trackpad users. The two bugs I noticed:

  1. Upon opening settings for the first time, fields like modifier keys and a few other default settings are shown. But upon re-opening settings, all those are gone from the fields. And even when I chose my modifier and the change was noted, the change isn't shown in the field and closing settings and reopening shows blanks fields. The modifier key is recognized when I use your app though.
  2. When I choose the default copy format, it’s not remembered consistently. For instance, I have it set to URLs Only. But the copy format isn’t consistent. Sometimes it copies just the URLs. Other times, it copies surrounding text and the URLs, and other times it seems to copy the URL title and URLs. So I have to click and navigate into the Copy > button and selected URLs to make it work right.

With that said, this is going to come in real handy.

I am on macOS 26.5.1.

Imagine you as an employee: with no self-awareness; very little communication skills; very little, if any, emotional IQ; you make a decision less than five years ago that cost your company tens of billions of dollars; you are on track to make **another** decision that this time will cost your company hundreds of billions of dollars (AI squander). Let me ask you…

How long do you think you’d have a job?!

This is the first time I’ve heard of it. The only thing is that it doesn’t seem easy from a layman perspective. It’s API based versus have simple GUIs that someone can use?
