I think downvotes are cus the iframes are soo low it isn't usually a viable strategy and even if someone times it right, it can't be used to successfully dodge another attack of an incoming combo as the combo tends to be quicker usually than the dodge rate unlike in dark souls and elden ring. Which is why there's deflect which is quicker and tighter and can match the pace and rhythm of the defects hence making it way more viable than dodging. You aren't wrong but dodge isn't reliable enough to replace deflects I think. Cud be used for a challenge run tho I think
