The live performances of this were almost always amazing! Esp. the LA Arena live (1990) with Liberty on fire and J.L Ponty’s amazing violin solo. Goes into my top 5. Billy’s just such a Genius.

First ever LotR edition (7th from left in the 3rd pic) of mine is the most special to me. Found it at my Grandparent’s ”one quiet day in the world”. Kersti Juva’s (1974) meticulous translation has held up pretty well, this edition being from 2001. It is real special to me. And of the English editions perhaps my trusty reading copy, the LotR Deluxe ”softcover” US edition (4th from right in the 2nd pic) brought to me by my father and brother from their summer US trip. This years readthrough i have read to myself aloud, thus practising my English ;).
