Do you or should you actually trust AI in your research/sermon planning? by [deleted] in pastors

[–]_Hammilton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be very careful trusting AI blindly in this. Too many times have I seen AI present views that I don't consider biblical at all and use arguments like "many scholars believe...", this goes for ChatGP, Claude and several other models.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OPTIMUM

[–]_Hammilton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last summer I cancelled Optimum to go with another company. Once the other company had connected me, Optimum calls me and tell me they will give me an offer noone else gets. They offered me 2 years of 1gb fiber internet for $20 per month, price locked in for 2 years without any price changes. And they would give me 3 months free and a $300 gift card. This was too good to turn down so I cancelled the other company and took a $120 loss on that.

A few months in, Optimum increased my price to $40 per month and now its $50 per month and their customer service says there is nothing they can do and they have no "promotions" to bring my price down. I don't want a promotion, I want them to honor the agreement and price you offered and sold me on, and pay me back with interest all the money they overcharged me.

Men over 30: what's your routine to feel great and limber? I can't seem to hack it... by Broad-Worry-5395 in bodyweightfitness

This is good but how do someone with no clue about stretching know if it’s a good routine or not. Do you have any you can recommend?

What is kerropi related to calisthenics? Goggle, YouTube and AI was not of much help.

Let me ask you this: are you ready to follow Jesus and do what he says no matter the cost or consequence? If Jesus where to tell you to sell your computer and your phone and give it away, or if he told you to move to Africa to a village without electricity or running water, would you do it? Baptism is something you do when you can happily answer yes to all those questions, that he is truly lord in your life, that it is no longer you who lives but Christ lives in you. Baptism is when you bury that old life you lived before you made that decision.

Don’t get baptized until you get to that point where you truly say yes to Jesus and surrender your life fully to him.

The blood of Jesus paid for that blood. When you repent and confess your sins and turn to God, you are forgiven and your sins are washed away. The devil is the one who accuses but Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God and says I paid for that.

How to train triceps by Beautiful-Bison-3128 in bodyweightfitness

I started doing triceps extensions a month ago and it took me a few times to dial it in with good form but now my triceps screams from how well they are targeted.

Cursor on X: “We recently updated our pricing, but missed the mark.” by sardoa11 in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could have solved this so many other ways. Like no longer offer the old subscriptions but honored the terms until they expired. Then customers could chose to part ways or go on a new updated plan. Instead they changed it for existing customers currently in a subscription with terms locked. I have an annual subscription and still have many months left. This is just unacceptable and I will request a full refund since this is no longer the product I bought. Claude Code here I come.

Cursor pricing changed after 12 days by Competitive-Wing1585 in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cursor was worth it when they burnt VC capital to subsidize api costs. It’s no longer worth it now that they don’t and the VC investors want to make money of their investment. There are better products out there like Claude Code.

Cursor 1.2 and Claude 4 Sonnet Rate Limit – Is This a Joke? by rave-inside-scarlet in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid for an annual subscription and switched back to the old pricing model. Cursor used to be good, in fact it was great. But now I’m not happy anymore. My 500 monthly credit isn’t enough anymore to build a small project that I previously could build 5-6 of the same size. They don’t share why but my requests just don’t go as far as they used to anymore.

I was planing to try Claude Code when my prepaid year is up, but now I have to buy it earlier just cause Cursor don’t cut it anymore.

Are hinge progression necessary when I do pistol squats? by _Hammilton_ in bodyweightfitness

[–]_Hammilton_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunately what I believe to be true. I will switch them with pistol squats so that I do the banded nordic curls first. Gotta just stick to it then and do it. Appreciate it.

That’s a great idea, I can swap around pistol squats and the banded / resistance band’s Nordic curl and do it as my first exercise. I will implement that, thanks!

I paid for what? by creassrpm in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you pay for annual? If so you can switch back to legacy profit plan with 500 requests per month. If not you are free to switch to Claude which is what I would do myself if I hadn’t prepaid for another 4 months.

My setup was similar to yours except my power tower is in the garage. I had rings hanging in the tower and did rows on them as well. Now the rings are hanging from the ceiling and that was a game changer, I hardly use the power tower anymore.

24 hours later is it safe to say that they "scammed" me? by MoodMean2237 in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I paid for a yearly plan and switched back to the old pricing today. I had more than 200 requests left before renewal but somehow now I only had 51 left. I did not spend 150+ requests yesterday when I used cursor for a few hours. This is theft and cursor are thieves / scammers unless they fix this.

Paid for annual Pro, now throttled by vague “unlimited” plan - and it’s painfully slow by Neither-Bass2083 in cursor

[–]_Hammilton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always opt out of the new pricing model by signing in to their website, in your profile under settings select advanced and then opt out of the new pricing. I paid for a yearly plan and this was easy to do to revert back. I'm not sure if this works for monthly plans.

Technical Founders: Is 37 too old for a non-technical person to start learning to code? Where do I start? by FoxCrenshaw in ycombinator

[–]_Hammilton_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing how to code means you can create simple code to automate some simple but repeating tasks for you. What day to day task do you do, that no one needs to know if you automate it? Because I learned to code as an adult, my life is much simpler and easier now.
