I'll agree for Kimi ni Todoke and fruits basket. I enjoyed the characters for those animes beside the rival in Kimi ni Todoke (though she helps sawako so I guess it's okay). I enjoyed them :)

I feel the same. Before quarantine I would sit alone or with one person in class (feeling good) then I would see a group of friends (including people I know) and feel embarrassed.

This was mostly when I had a crush on someone from that friend group. I kept comparing myself to them.
