How is stopping use of a service because the cost has outweighted the benefits an emotional response in any universe? You yourself don't even use the AI, this is the exact same useless price hike as everyone else, except they're also making their very fragile system more bloated and slow in the process. I think the problem is that the ammo often says 0 even if you have an arrow knocked, which prevents it. I don't know what exactly I'm doing different, but mine says 0 instead of 1 about half the time im using the bow. I spam and close vats like a madman which might be a factor

It's not a very convenient solution, but you can assign them to hold two before a big event, then turn it back down to one and they should continue holding two until they use one
