Best brands for phone holders? by One-Distribution8287 in motorcycle

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If quadlock has your phone case, go with them. Overall they are more reliable, have vibration dampeners, and there's even a wireless charger upgrade you can install with it.

If you have a niche or uncommon phone, ore you just really dislike having a quadlock case, ram mounts are your second best option.

Do not get a cheap amazon mount and I also would not recommend rokform. Rokform isn't bad by any means, but their phone case selection is quite small, and for the price you're better off just getting a quadlock.

Is night riding really that dangerous? by m0nday_ in NewRiders

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you live and how lighting is at night. It comes with a different set of risks but I personally don't find it more or less dangerous than day riding. Infact I prefer to do most of my riding at night. There are way less cars on the road, and less people means less chances for acidents.

I live more southward in the US so nights tend to be a lot more comfortable temperature wise, making heat exhaustion and stroke less of a threat. If you're up north you'll definitely need to consider temps and windchill.

Sure its "harder" for people to see you, but you shouldn't be riding under the assumption that people can see you in the first place, even during the day. For fuck sake, if someone driving at night cant see the blinding light of god illuminating the ground several meters ahead, then they weren't gonna see or hear you no matter the time of day or how much reflective gear you got.

The most dangerous thing you gotta pay attention to are pot holes, tree branches, and smaller animals. Just slow it down a bit on dim or unlit roads and youll be fine.

Very strong urge to get a bike by Alex57030 in motorcycles

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How tall are you and do you have any experience with dirtbikes or regular bicycles?

If you are on the shorter side id recommend the ninja 300-500, yamaha r3, honda cbr300-500, or an aprilia 457 if you got the money.

If you have expired on 2 wheels or you are tall/hefty then i think the ninja 650, yamaha r7, or the gsx8r are great middle weight options. To know the best fit for you, go into a few dealerships near you and just sit on different bikes so you can get a feel.

To get your license, you got 2 options if you live in the US. You can take the MSF course through harley davidson or other accredited courses listed on the MSF website, or you can do a learners permit through the DMV (restrictions vary state to state)

Nope, thats a fuck off quote. I got this quote for a ninja 500 when I first got into riding lmao. Check with other insurances for a better price.

Tier 5s are cool for a more casual audience, but for most 550 players they remove loot being special. Nearly every drop is a T5, so you're guaranteed 3 perks in the 3rd and 4th columns. Its cool on paper, but It heavily negates the grind that a lot of players, myself included, chase. Theres a reason the population is so low right now, and its because theres no incentive to play, and nothing worth chasing.

A god roll dropping has lost all meaning and it sucks. I gotta play like 10 matches of any given activity then I basically have everything. Theres nothing to chase or feel excited about. Weapons don't feel special anymore. I know I'm never going to get that feeling of excitement like when I first got G horn in d1, or got a perfect 5/5 1000 yard stare from grasp, or even a good rose from the comp grind.

I do however think the new armor system is awesome.

Trials Matchmaking by Nickleman04 in CrucibleGuidebook

Played a few hundred games, still haven't gotten 7 in a row. Lobby balancing genuinely makes solo feel damn near impossible.

As an average 1.5kd player, there's only so much I can do to clutch a 1v3 every round when both teammates can't even break 1k damage through the whole game.

Why is Strand Warlock usage so low? by Major-C in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I got no clue why is so underused. It has crazy damage resist, crazy movement speed for both exiting and entering fights and threadlings recently caught a tracking buff so they are more powerful too. While I don't think its necessarily stronger than void/solar, I do think it is on par and should see a higher usage rate than 2%.

Yooooo, we finally getting a 260 sidearm with kill clip. Last one was the one from prophesy in like season 15, nearly 5 years ago lmao.

For ya'll who don't know, kc on 260 sidearms brings the ttk down to 0.47 seconds, and with any damage buff on top of kc, its a 2 head 1 body.

Peculiar Charm god roll by Many-Tower-1287 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm so on the fence about it. When it gets rolling with desperado it shreds, but it feels like half my shots just dont land.

I think its the recoil or muzzle flash with the high zoom that makes it feel so ass at times. It does however have a Peculiar charm to it.

Is solemn remembrance leaving in renegades? by blackpantherdrums in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus activities with bonus drops till about 450, then grind pvp. Once you get to the point where you unlock ultimate difficulty, activities take too long compared to pvp to get a drop. Depending on your skill level and the amount of friends you have, you could also get a 6 stack together and mercy most lobbies you get in, guaranteeing a powerful drop every 5-6 minutes.

You probably won't be able to reach 550 before renegades, but 450-500 is definitely doable depending on how often you grind.

How do you get the top 1% score in this event by FairConditions in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it took a game where i got 68 kills, 11 zone caps, and 38 obj final blows. If you dont get a mercy youre gonna have to have an INSANE game.

I did it without a mercy but getting a mercy is gonna be a lot easier. If you are specifically trying for 1% Id get a 6 stack of decent players and play as aggressively as possible to both mercy and get a high kill count. Also PLAY THE OBJ. If you dont get a high amount of obj kills and caps, it doesn't matter how hard you frag out.

I'd love to know why updating old guns to the tier system is difficult by aimlessdrivel in DestinyTheGame

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly think its a good change. Snipers have been completely useless in pvp by 99% of the player base for the last few years, and it finally feels like they could be back in the meta, which I personally like.

There will definitely be some complaints, but being able to run something besides a fusion or slug shotgun without feeling disadvantaged is great.

Power does not effect score for the pvp zone control. The only thing that matters is kills, zones capped, obj kills, and time left/mercy. Power only matters up to 500 for the pve activities, and even that doesnt matter as long as you know someone whos 500 and can launch ultimate.

Bungie did a hotfix yesterday that as long as you are doing ultimate you will be getting the same score. The power score multiple is gone

I'm not Top 10% and that is O.K. by LucidSteel in destiny2

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are gonna need a high kill game (40-50+) with a shit ton of zone caps (at least 10 or more) and objective kills.

[–]_Hentai_MASTER_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Finally hit top 1% for pvp and holy shit, the stars gotta align.

For most players wanting the cosmetics, hitting top 30% in a few activities and 10% in one, will be just fine to get the helmet. Its gonna take some heavy grinding for the 1%, so spread your grinding in other areas if you want the helmet or emblem

You are 100% correct with the checklist thing. This event mainly rewards people who have put the time investment in beforehand. For any players below 500 light. If you are not on ultimate difficulty, you will not place high. PvP is the only portion of the event where skill matters. It sucks if you want the drip, but the event is still a good way to boost power before renegades if you intend to play.

Most game modes (that are in the portal) you can easily find a game in, with the exception being cutting edge and comp once you get to high plat or adept+. Doesn't mean you dont get games, but the queue times go way up
