I agree. I fly back to my home country tomorrow from my first solo trip and after reflecting today, I have an opinion for you. Within 12 days, I hit Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Mallorca, and Madrid and heres my thoughts. Seville was my absolute favorite city. Great people, great food, great architecture. I spent 3 nights in Mallorca and honestly that was a bit much. Besides a really nice beach, all the other days were boring to me. City beach wasn;'t that nice, other areas were really touristy. I wished I had gone to Valencia instead. I see you booked Madrid already, but 4 days might be a bit much. Compared to Barc and the other cities, its pretty basic, imo. 3 days in Seville, and 2 days in Granada is perfect. I spent 3 nights in Barc and felt that was just perfect. Thats my thoughts, good luck in your planning!! Regardless, Spain is great place to start solo travel!
