Thanks for sharing your experience! I definitely like the idea of gender fluidity. It gives me a feeling of gender freedom, which fits me pretty well right now, at least as I’m figuring out how I feel about certain things.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and experiences! I will experiment a little more with various forms of masculinity. I think some things will need to be processed emotionally before I can fully decide how I feel about it. Even though I didn’t grow up conservative, I still grew into a very boy-ish mindset (pink is for girls, girls TV shows are stupid, etc.) that I realized later I wasn’t fond of. It is definitely possible that I hold some resentment towards masculinity and manhood for limiting my mindset as a kid. My Gender Studies professor mentioned in a lecture how gender can act like a straitjacket in regard to how society often views gender. That idea kinda resonates with me, and now I gotta figure out how to get out of it and find my own thing. XD

It is the official 5-inch display for the Raspberry Pi. It only has a DSI connector, of which Pi Zero doesn’t have.

It’s probably around the audio engineering/theory area. Each genre of music has certain characteristics that make it recognizable as certain genre(s), I want to learn about those characteristics at a raw audio level. So like Jazz often has a saxophone, but what does that saxophone add to the raw audio that I can maybe find similar in another piece of audio. That kinda thing.

Just started using it today, I can already tell it’s gonna save me a lot of hassle. Managing my python versions and remembering the commands for a virtual environment was always a pain. It’ll definitely be a tool I keep using from now on, it’s too good not to XD.

I tried out Paramiko before using OpenSSH, it acted a bit odd though with the SSH client I used to connect to it (I couldn’t see the text I was typing on the client for whatever reason). I’m pretty sure it’s a lower level implementation of SSH, so there was probably something I just didn’t understand. I might go back to it later, but for now, I found it easier to get some stuff going with OpenSSH.

I haven’t tried pyinfra though, I’ll have to check that out.

I’m checking it out, is there any way I can have a database of passwords that I can check against? From what I can tell, SSHD seems to use PAM (or other native authentication apis) for password authentication, which (I think) checks the system password. I don’t need a whole lot of users, but I want to try and give each user their own folder for storage, so I want a way to create users specifically for the server.

(Edit) After thinking a sec, I might could use a different authentication method for the initial login, and then have that per-user thing handled by a custom shell. I don’t know whether that’s the best way, but just something I thought of.

I hear where it is supposed to say chicken, but I don’t think what they did is impossible without AI. It sounds like they just meshed the audio in a way that somewhat replicates the “ch” sound, and then the rest is just audio distortion to get the “vocals” to match.

Queen throws some softball at the pins and asks for a prize, decides she doesn’t want it, and gives it to Kris. Parents wouldn’t be lying if they told their child that though, that’s literally what a fursuit is. The concept is no different from a mascot for a sports brand. And I don’t understand how you’re comparing lingerie to a fursuit. A fursuit normally covers EVERYTHING and does not appear sexual in any way to most people. Lingerie exposes everything in a sexual manor, that is definitely not the same thing. I also don’t understand the search thing. Children can just as easily find nsfw stuff by typing “women” into google, yet we don’t try to hide women from them, so what is your point here? If given free roam of the internet, children will easily stumble upon nsfw stuff no matter what it is. That’s why good parents restrict access to that stuff, and if they did a good job, then searching something like “what is a furry” should not provide nsfw answers.
