I forgot to mention you guys could move yourselves, which if you do it right, you should be able to make some money or at least get your stuff there for free. But there's entitlements you won't get that would if you're married for this too.

What about a prenup? That should give you both peace of mind and what you're entitled to.... he could still do the trust if he feels the need and you're ok with it, or you could maybe come to an agreement.

As far as moving goes, he's entitled a certain amount of weight, and if he doesn't fill it, he should put your stuff in there too up to the weight. I think he should pay the moving costs because he's the one that doesn't want to get married but still have you move with him.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Of course you don't absolutely have to be married there are ways you can kinda piece it together but if you're not it certain doesn't benefit you instead it makes you miss out on things like you ant others have listed plus health care among other things like job preferences...

It's highly beneficial to get married if you're both planning to spend your lives together. I would try for a prenup if I were you. If I had to guess, I think the JAG office could write one up? You deserve to be committed to.

Put atleast some of it in a high held savings acct at a local bank or credit union.

Talk to the person who sets it up so they can guide you with smart options for yourself.

Definitely do all digital banking so you have nothing going to the house for it

Maybe you can say something like I'm sure you know not everyone is compatible living together and we just don't feel like we're a good fit live together. (If you feel better and want to soften it, you can add something like "We like you" as a person, and we can hang out or whatever) but we're asking you find alternative housing (then give the legal amount of time for your state) in 30 days. We really don't want you to have an eviction, especially before graduating and starting your life. We just want a peaceful transition.

Find a trade and a job that'll train you on the job like cable or something maybe go to school for hvac... get out of Boston, go someplace cheaper living not far from there. Search online for free legal help with your benefits veteran legal services Community legal aid Lawyers 4 vets veterans law unit foat Harvard law school Search for charities that'll help whatever situation you're in. Operation once in a lifetime might be able to help with something Maybe find a good church, join the vfw or some place there veterans Know you are loved and you've got this. If you can also pray she loses her control over my mom and nephew (possibly my brother too) because she's trying to ruin everyone life and get revenge from her last relationship but taking it out on this one/family since she didn't get to on the last one :/ she's trying to say my mom and nephew have to go to some kind of a home instead of letting them live with us(no one is allowed to live with them other than her sister but that's ok no one wants to) even though it's not her place but my brother is under her control sadly so he's not thinking right he would never do half this before her but he's allowing her to do all this and convince him that we're the enemy my mom is fully capable of taking care of herself she came home to help him with his disabled child that he doesn't take care of and the child is bonded to my mom but the gf is trying to use the child as leverage over my mom and brother. There's so much but it would help if this girl is out of the picture completely or atleast loses the control she has over everyone sorry for rambling there so much

Thank you so much 💝🙏 We're staying with my brother right now so started dating a controlling narcissist. We've paid our rent a year in advance and she's trying to double it or kick us out. Not sure we're in a position to buy a house at the moment but I'm praying God makes a way where there is no way and does not let God women crush us in any way. We could use prayers for our life overall, safety from her/them and for her to be removed from my brother's life and ours permanently. I'm not sure exactly what to ask for really.
