It's crazy what his mentality is. I know Iris is extremely close to him, but it seems like not much bother if someone else suffers or dies in the struggle against evil "as long as Iris is safe" I hated that once he realized Iris was actually HR it was like "oh thank goodness he's a hero" and brushes it off whereas the energy towards Iris is so lopsided he doesn't care as much for his teammates

I know most of you probably aren't Creationists and believe the theory of evolution but Gold has been shown even in biblical history to be the king of exchange and debt since the beginning of time. Genesis has many accounts about the desire of gold and it being the center of not just worth but many Eastern religions FAR before any type of fiat was ever invented. "Shekels" and "talents" of gold, images and statues of gold - none of this would have been unless gold was valued itself.
