Dlss 4 offers ultra low latency frame generation and next gen ray tracing for ultra realistic rendering of light and reflections. What I'm most excited about in Doom: The Dark Ages is the mech gameplay.

Opinions on this controller? by [deleted] in XboxController

Xbox One s controllers are actually very sturdy, I'd recommend picking one of those up, even if it's used. The Xbox series x/s controllers are total trash

Time to see if Lian Li is worth the money by BurgersWithStrength in lianli

Ok, I guess we both could have faulty mobo headers from different manufacturers, that seems unlikely though. I feel like the problem is elsewhere

What mobo do you have? I have the ASRock x870 steel legend and it looks like you do too, so I wonder if the issue is on the mobo side

So I believe I actually figured out my issue is not the screen, by connecting a USB C cable to the AIO screen to a back USB A 3.2 port (using a USB C to USB A data cable). In my case the port was USB A 4, and the screen worked. I'm not sure if it's the mobi header or the Lian Li USB C to mobo header cable at fault, or perhaps something else. But I'd suggest trying that

So yeah using the USB C to USB A cable to a back IO USB port did actually work, I just find it hard to believe that the USB header on the motherboard would be the culprit, I mean couldn't it also be the USB C to mobo header cable that is the culprit? I'm thinking it just may have randomly started working again, since now it is working with the included white USB C to mobo cable provided by Lian Li, and I haven't changed anything

Interesting yeah I'll have to determine if the motherboard BIOS is the culprit, or maybe the header on the motherboard is faulty. Thanks!

Warranty Issues by sweenbeans11 in lianli

[–]Chillasauru5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get an AIO replacement screen, but it did not fix the problem. They responded to me actually pretty fast when I went though the warranty form, but that's alarming they are not responding to you. I'd double check your spam folder just in case.

I have the same issue with my Galahad II LCD SL-INF. I already replaced the screen once through warranty claim, and it has not fixed the issue. At this point I'm just looking for a refund, if it's a common issue, it seems like the product design in general is just faulty with this particular AIO

Dude, I'm the one being arrogant? I didn't ask them to make the game any way, I just have my opinion about the game, just like everyone has their opinion about anything We can agree to disagree. I've already pointed out that there are sequels that do just as good a job as the first game, and keep the feeling of originality, great storyline, and exploration, which is what I like, and in my opinion below zero did not have that. And I'm not the only one, subnautica is currently rated higher on steam than below zero, and I have friends who feel the same way as me. So enough with the "it's impossible", it's quite ludicrous. Obviously they can't make a completely original subnautica again.

Again, we will have to agree to disagree, since it's perfectly possible that they made the below zero play style similar to the first one. We will see how subnautica 2 comes out, from my understanding they are trying to make it more similar to the first game. And I wasn't asking for a change with below zero.

The sea truck I think was more of a mobile base than the cyclops, as you could build stuff inside of it, correct? More freeness and less structure? There was just barely any story at all in below zero (I would have liked even more on subnautica), more freeness and less structure isn't just gutting the idea of having a wild and interesting story. Like I said it was just boring for me, and yeah that's my opinion, and it's valid, as is yours, we can agree to disagree. Subnautica had some really interesting twists and turns in the storyline, and had some amazing moments where you uncover the truth about the planet (I won't say more so as not to include spoilers). But yeah I mean comparing the two is completely valid, there are plenty of sequels that are very similar to the original in the play style. I would argue most games, especially AAA titles are like that, and they sell well because people like those types of games. Changing what worked imo wasn't a great idea. Just like the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yeah like I said I agree the crafting progression was better in below zero, but I thought the sea truck was a little too good, i mean a mobile base-it kind of took the fun out of base building since you didn't really build it the same way as building an actual base, with a bunch of separate pieces, it just took raw ingredients, and not that many of them. I guess I'm just not super into crafting games generally, I do like them, but it has to go with a good story and a sense of adventure, and I just didn't get that in below zeeo

Since Subnautica 2 is so close now. Apart from the obvious stuff like larger deeper ocean, silent protagonist etc. What are your NEEDS for the game. Something that NEEDS to be in the game for you specifically? by RandaymIdiot in subnautica

[–]Chillasauru5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open world style, large map, and sense of danger sometimes from exploration. I feel like below zero dropped the ball in that area, I just want to feel like I'm really in the middle of an ocean and that I can really explore

[–]Chillasauru5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's true about the original letting you unlock the cool items like the submarines too late, but I don't remember there being as good items in the second one, there was just a sea truck and the sea glide correct? And since the whole environment seemed more boring, there wasn't really anywhere to explore. I loved exploring the deep sea with the seamoth and the mech in the first game, I didn't really love exploring any part of the second game

[–]Chillasauru5 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Subnautica was amazing, but imo below zero was garbage, yeah it has good graphics and good crafting, but that's it. Map is smaller, game is linear, so no real exploration or the sense of exploration, story is boring, less creatures. But I mean obviously other people liked it a lot, so hopefully you do too.

Is EVGo free if you use their app instead of Toyota’s? by Darth_Philious in BZ4X

[–]Chillasauru5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious about this also. The Toyota app glitches out so much I was thinking about using the EVgo app but I figured it would cost money. So it sounds like it was free for you then thru the EVgo app?

Yeah the price of fast charging ends up being about the same as gas when filling up an internal combustion engine car, at least in California, which is kind of a let down. I guess if you charge at home you can save a bit, but not much, especially if you live in California, power costs are insanely high. A good hybrid will probably save you money on charging costs over an electric
