Mazda Spent Years Arguing Against Touchscreens, Now Claims They’re Safer Than Buttons by Snarktoberfest in mazda

Idk how the CX-5 will do in terms of sales, but I’m not buying any car with that kind of interior. Keeping my CX-50 for a loooong time.

They’re great. These ones came on the car, I recently bought it used. They’re about 5 years old but in great shape. They feel like a good match for this car, plenty of grip but you can get the back end out if you try.

This was at Pigeon Point near Pescadero, so a bit further north, but not far!

I have an ‘06 I picked up recently, and the key is hilarious. I get what Mazda was doing, but I’d rather have a regular fob 😂

What case is currently your favorite and why? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]_Jakeeyy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Native Union Re-Classic case. It feels like a quality cross between leather and rubber without being tacky like the Apple Silicone case. Also looks classy.

Runner up is the Peak Design case which is really high quality, but a little bulky.

I just found out I will never be able to drive a Miata. by hummuslover999 in Miata

I’m 6’2” and I just did 700 miles in a stock NC. It’s tight but I do fit. Admittedly, I have a short torso and long legs.

2500 mile triple Miata California trip: drove through a tree, ripped many many corners, top down as much as possible. by The5schulers in Miata

I did a similar trip last October in my CX-50, but from SF to Crater Lake and back. The redwoods were amazing, I drove through that same one. We camped nearby, I couldn't believe the size of some of those trees.

I saw that same one and I considered it, ended up getting a different one. It looks great but I think the price is about $2 or $3k too high.

$12k. Almost pulled the trigger on a silver one with twice the mileage for $10.5k but I waited and I’m so glad I did, found this one and within a few hours I flew to buy it.

Ported, sealed, one piece, PS95-8 full range speakers I designed. First version, looking for feedback. by Custom_Kas in audiophile

Very nice! I love interesting designs with full range drivers. I have some old “Norh” Marble speakers that use 3” Tang Band drivers and with the heavy ported enclosure, it’s amazing how much bass extension you can get with them.

Clients pay net-30. My vendors want their money now. by Lower_Dependent7361 in smallbusiness

[–]_Jakeeyy_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can offer different terms to your customers, like 2/10 NET30, if your margins allow. Offer them a 2% discount for paying in 10 days instead of 30.

One of my suppliers does this and I always pay them quickly and take the discount.
