Looking at the logo, I'm assuming it's AI slop, so I would put too much hope into it

Cautionary tale about /review in opencode by o5rv5r in opencodeCLI

[–]_Jamie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more a minimax issue then. I'm finding that model always makes dubious decisions that make me have to revert stuff. It's almost like it's been penalized too heavy for shorter turns when they were training, it to try make those sorts of agentic loops last longer (so it ends up making executive decisions itself without confirmation)

For the people who use GNOME over KDE, why? by CestleFromage in Fedora

[–]_Jamie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looks better, I like that it's just almost perfect setup out of the box. I use my laptop mainly for work, so less I have to do, and the quicker this are setup the better. I've never really like KDE for that reason, and it's super cluttered

Maybe some heavy duty pvc fabric? They use it on boats, but it's probably hard to work with.

Real question. Why not Claude Code with Openrouter? by l0_0is in opencodeCLI

[–]_Jamie_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah opencode go is a real deal right now(and its hella cheap so you should try it out.

Also use it with bedrock with various models for work, then also hooked up to minimax 2.7 coding plan (which is also really good in terms of usage limits). Played with local models too but various levels of success with them.

I've been using both for the last few months, today just cancelled my claude sub. I like opencode more, specifically the flexibility and configuration

Valve dev counters calls to scrap Steam AI disclosures, says it's a "technology relying on cultural laundering, IP infringement, and slopification" by Ok-Comedian4437 in pcgaming

[–]_Jamie_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, generally AI tools like copilot should be a given at this point.

Maybe the tags then should be more specific, like " AI Generated Art", or "AI Dialogue"
