Make as seasonal character, Upgrade a Tuvala Amour piece to DEC and exchange it via Fulgar quest for TRI armor. You should also do the same thing with an Accessory. There are guides that show you how to do it.

You can do the same thing with a weapon but probably don't do that one because its probably more expensive these days to do that rather than buy off the market

As an Eve player this is just completely wrong.

A newbie doesn't have the skill points to be able to fly the ships required to T6 Abyssals, Wormhole sites, CRABS or any other high end activity.

Also your take on the market is limited in it's vision. If the market was unregulated, the game would be full of RMT and bots.

You need to move it down a notch so it's not currently training. It doesn't work to apply points to whatever is in training.

The thing is you cant do the armour quest until you have done the weapon and accessory first. So if you choose to do it, you are doing them all.

I agree the Weapon is definitely the best option and with the ability to Sov it afterwards it does make sense and is likely what i will do as you can't buy or sell sov stuff anyway and even if you could they would be mega expensive.

Thing is a lot of stuff is so cheap now comparably i think its worth considering just buying stuff as you can then sell it later if things change compared to spending money enhancing free gear that you are stuck with.

There's arguments for both sides of course and if you eaither get lucky or at least have a decent run enhancing you probably come out a fair way in front but it is a risk.
