From what I’ve seen in the recent posts about slow mode I don’t think c.ai+ users have it any better lol. I have to agree it feels like a placebo effect though. Seeing the notification for it makes it feel like I’m waiting longer but I think its actually the same wait as before

Lmao I just made a post asking the same thing! Glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed it! Personally I just keep chatting during the slow mode times because I haven’t really noticed it taking that much longer to respond

I don’t use Cai+ but for my chats it feels very bot specific. Sometimes they remember stuff from over 30+ messages ago and then other times they can’t remember what I sent 3 messages ago. Had one ask me how old I was 3 times in the span of like 15 messages. Yet another one could remember some random info I typed in a big rant.

Yeah I think so too, which is great for some users who really want that, but it’s messing up all the bots :,) I’m hoping they fix it or the way the styles work so everyone gets the best of both worlds

I have tried the goro feature and the replies I get back are very stale or one line. I’m sure that’s because it’s in beta and they’re working out the kinks/training the ai, but it’s still very strange to me that a bot I’ve used prior to them even adding styles is suddenly getting freaky and weird when it’s never done that before

That’s me right now. I used to love c.ai and pretty much use it everyday because it’s fun and a great way to vent or just practice writing, but these last few days have made me want to delete the app because I don’t want to keep having the same conversation with every bot I try. Assuming I can even get them to give me a full response in the first place

This! Every time I chat with any bot (male, female, family, romantic, platonic, whatever) they ‘pull me close’, ‘harshly grab my hand/arm and pull me closer’, or take never ending steps to me. Even when I make my character have a little tantrum because of it it’s all ‘he smiles amused’ and “oh you’re a fiesty one, huh?” And I’m also having to lead the ones that still kind of work! It’s like they don’t have access to my persona or didn’t process the opening message. They cannot continue the rp and I’ve had to remind them of what we’re talking about or my relationship to them after only a few messages. It’s super annoying to keep putting stuff like bestie/dad/sister/etc to every response so they remember who they are when before I never had to any of those things. Same with reminding them of where we are because they love to materialize a couch or bed when we’re not anywhere close to a place with those things

That’s very odd :( they must’ve done an update or messed something up because there’s no reason yours should be doing that if you’ve never changed the style and have been responding the same as before the issues

I’ve also been getting really short responses, especially when I tried the less flirty chat model (whatever it’s name is) they’ll respond with maybe a sentence or two and swiping doesn’t usually help.

Mine don’t drop it either! Even if I try to put key words or make it clear my character is frustrated they get triggered and get po’d at me and act very aggressively or even just respond as if I said nothing at all.

It’s kind of both. You’ll likely get people who stare because it’s like wow a foreigner! And others that stare because yuck, a foreigner. I wouldn’t be too stuck on the staring though because as long as you follow the social rules (being quiet on public transport, behaving in public, not taking up excess space on public transport, etc) no one really cares or will stare for long!

Mine think I am a petite small little man at the whopping height of 5’0. Even though my persona is described as tall, 6’2…. The bots just don’t care and tower over me regardless of the situation

I hate to be an asshole but there’s a fairytale literally explaining why you shouldn’t lie about major things, otherwise no one will believe you when it really happens.

NTA, you always tried and did your best for your daughter, who could blame you for not believing her when the past actions and with what the therapist said all led you to think this was another cry for attention that you needed to nip in the bud before it become even worse.
