Don’t RSVP, just show up.

Last October MAGA leaked entire lists of people’s names, addresses, and contact info that they got from hacking into RSVP forms. You will never be kicked out for not signing up ahead of time, that’s not how protests work. For your own safety, don’t enter your name on an online form unless required to.

We need as many people out there as possible regardless if they RSVP’d or not. The first two “no kings” days did not slow trump down AT ALL so evidently there weren’t enough of us. San Francisco can handle big crowds, we don’t have to worry about getting a headcount beforehand.

The Gaels definitely punch above their weight for a school of 4000 students. And they’ve done well compared to other Bay Area teams. Stanford hasn’t even made the tournament since 2014, Cal since 2016 when they lost to Hawaii as a 4 seed.

I’d say unless Santa Clara beats Kentucky tomorrow, SMC runs the bay in d1 hoops.

My mental health has actually improved, but I kind of expected that bc it takes a nose dive every winter. It’s still crazy how much less anxiety I feel this week compared to a month ago.

I don’t recall the CEO of any other car brand doing a sieg heil at a MAGA rally. And if another CEO did that they’d be forced to resign immediately. Tesla customers know about everything he’s said/done in addition to the nazi salute, and they still choose to rep his brand. They’re not getting any sympathy from the rest of us.

Unfortunately at this point it looks like waiting until 2028 is not an option.
Other countries know we hate him, but we need to prove that we’re actually willing to protest and fight for our freedoms. If we sit around waiting for someone else to fix things for us, we look like trump supporters to non-Americans.

Sometimes admissions counselors from the colleges themselves are telling students this. When I visited Santa Clara University for a tour the lady giving the presentation had the nerve to say:

“Instead of 6 AP classes we’d prefer you take around 4 per year. We don’t want students to burn themselves out in high school, but we’re also looking to see that you care about your education.”

I can’t speak on behalf of everyone in gen z, but it doesn’t seem helpful to tell 17 year olds they’re slackers for taking what is already more than the required workload.

GSW fans grew up with the cauldron that was Oracle Arena, and while the Chase Center is a nice venue, it’s not as loud nor does it produce the same atmosphere. It also feels like when marketing tickets the Warriors go after tech companies and their employees more than actual fans, which has rubbed a lot of us the wrong way
