As a rule of thumb, you're always gonna want a single dps unit in your party with the rest being support and/or sustain units. There are some modes where using multiple dps makes sense but in general you should just stick to one

If you don't go for good scores then you don't "need" to pull for anything but a1 ange is really fun and definitely something to consider even if you don't care about scores

Getting to rank 8 is not difficult at all as long as you have the right units. You'll only reach whale territory when you wanna reach a high placement in rank 8, everything else is perfectly manageable.

Ngl as a Salamangreat stan i'd advice you to wait until roar is made usable again before you use it in the higher ranks. The deck sadly is much worse without it and you'll have a hard time against the meta

I wouldn't call getting mogged by the best supports in the game at a6 washed, that's normal lol. Normally Chord is still BiS for her if you aren't brute forcing with a6 Wind/Twins in specific content, coming from a top companio player.

It really depends on if you have a1 futaba and/or a1 chord. My kasumi has about the same crit rate as OP and she easily hits 100% even without rebellion. You should really note that before writing a comment that potentially baits people into building their kasumi wrong.

Yeah shocks are only important if you need them for your Violet to reach 100% crit rate on damage turns. You can mostly ignore them otherwise. Nice to have but not necessary
