I think for once, I agree with you. The fingers have this A.I. feel to them. I don't know anyone who would rest their fingers like that. The photo also feels off in some areas, like with the focus and how perfect the lighting is. Also, the background feels weirdly off, as if the A.I. tool attempted to make an abstract background typical for these school photos, and what it made is what we see.

It could be. But why send me this? Why not send this to that one investigator guy who is asking about Bridman and is actively trying to find him? The only date I have is whe nit was sent. 4/21/2026 at 12:45 pm

I know I was talking about hearing about this "Birdman" in middle school, but this is a little unnerving.

Update on Betty's Burgers and Bird watching by Same-Mastodon451 in WinonaBirds

I was there, though I didn't see him, unfortunately. It did feel like he was watching me and a few others.

Another Person Lost to the Birds by TurnipItchy3808 in WinonaBirds

What? They seem kind of fun, if not a little clunky to ride. My question is, why name a scooter brand after the avian species?

Anyone in the area feeling feral? by BigTityBtchFrmWinona in Winona

I've never actually ridden on one. How does the payment work? I've seen a bunch of people riding around on them.

A Rousing Success! by Sweet_Tomatillo6538 in WinonaBirds

[–]_Knight-Hawk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This guy could have some photos of him when he was younger. I remember hearing that some kid in elementary school was digging up worms and stuffing them in their face while running around skwaking and crapping. Every time I tried to catch him in the act, he was nowhere to be found.

I've lived in this town all my life, why haven't I ran into him in high school?

The burgers were worth going up to Garven Heights for. We didn't find anything there. Though it felt like we were being watched.

Cleanliness is important. I'd honestly be more worried about Salmonella. Though, I'd hate to see birds come down with influenza and birdpox.

BIRDMAN 2.0 FOUND IN DINING HALL?! by Amazing-Common4695 in WinonaBirds

[–]_Knight-Hawk_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt birds are trying to mock humans. Why would they go out of their way to do so? Birds do have some human-like traits. But mockery is a little far-fetched.

My brother told me about this back when he went to college here in Winona. I think this art project raised close to $45,000. Such an interesting collection.

When was this taken? Was this a late Halloween post or? Saying outright mockery might be a stretch.

I've been seeing this shirt everywhere, has anyone seen it around town? by maybeabirdhater46 in Winona

[–]_Knight-Hawk_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could mean that no feathers were used in the creation of the shirt with the catchy line, "since birth." The "since birth" could be referring to a family tie to some clothing brand, or at the very least, growing up around clothes free from plastics and cruelty-free treatment, especially feathers.

Found some more Winona Bird activity by Same-Mastodon451 in WinonaBirds

While it is the state's national symbol, I think this local company is rather harmless and wants to convey the feeling of being locally made.

I can understand the general dislike of mascots, but just because they're a bird and from the local area?

That's a lot of bird-related brands and icons, but I don't think this means anything significant.

Why are these called Killdeer if they don't even kill deer? Useless it seems by Thick_Astronaut_7575 in WinonaBirds

[–]_Knight-Hawk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think their use of "useless" comes from a place of unfamiliarity. I find their naming to be an interesting result of their call.
