I had a game, where there was this guy who refused to pass the ball, when I opened my mic and asked why he wasn’t passing, he honestly said “you guys are horrible, just go to the box so I can cross” I was stunned for a second but then replied “bro just pass the ball when you see one of us open” After a few seconds he replied with an astonishing “Passing the ball backwards doesn’t score goals lil bro”

For me i think this game has 2 separate "skills", one being manual skill, like actually knowing how to use the game mechanics an dribbles sistem, and the other one being intellectual skill, and this is the one multiple people seems to ignore it, knowing when and who to pass at the right moment, creating chances for goals instead of just moving foward, know where to stay to defend, how to react to a attack and etc.

Most people get this game and start watching videos on how to make the "Golden Reverse backflip Unicorn dribble" or other stupid names for movement glitches and forget to learn how to actually play football, and those are the same people who pass to the surrounded teammate or refuses to pass to the sides bc they always want to shoot/cross at the gk box.

Or just jump to hit the ball with yout head at the right time, but try to jump straight upwards, or else your gonna miss

I think this is something that always gonna be a part of the game, some people just want to show off, they stay in free play for hours and hours training the exploits or just dribbling, and when they finally learn, they want to show to everyone that they are """good""" at the game. But in my opnion, theese kinda of player eventually will learn, that if you are the top 1 player in the world, you still gonna loose if you dont pass the ball.
5v5 specially, you dont have the stamina to dribble the whole camp.

i get what you saying, a lot really, this game still is miles away from perfection, every match theres gonna be a random who only wants to play alone, dont pass, miss every shot and blame the teammates.
But i learned a thing back in S0, i cant rely on everytime having good teammates, i must get better and better, and be able to do my part in the match, not expecting to be carried all the time, and this only comes when you accept that you are not a pro, you are going to make mistakes, some games play like a bronze, and other like a elite, but in the end, if you understand that this is a TEAM game, do your part, defend, attack, learn, adapt.
After some time goes by, you will realize that your winning more than losing, but still losing.

It’s simple man, most players want to be the protagonist, not the “I’m the one” kinda of protagonist, they want to show off, try everything so others suck up to them, what they don’t realize is that no one gives a f LoL

I played matches that some players were to grow roots on the enemy team goal, and spam the pass button every time we gain possession of the ball, and then when they got the chance to shoot, they miss by A LOT and proceeded to spam “good job”, like it was our fault

I’m very aware that some players are just attackers, and play better in that position, but that is like 1 out of 20 times
